WHO WE ARE
Only 1 in 5 children get enough physical activity each day. Our hope is that children will become more active, develop new skills and be provided with a pathway to develop a passion for hockey at school and beyond.
WHAT WE HAVE ACHIEVED
School assemblies reaching 6,000 children
Provided 1,000 free hockey sticks and balls to local state schools
Given weekly coaching to boys and girls at over half of all primary state schools across the London Borough of Merton
Helped teachers develop their hockey coaching skills, programmes, exercises and games
Beyond the school gate, we run weekly coaching sessions at local pitches for children who want to take their hockey journey to the next level
Host the annual Quick Start Hockey festival for state primary school boys and girls of all levels
Provide prizes and star appearances at the Merton Games hockey festival
